Fóram Cruite na nÓg | Young Harpers’ Forum 2024

Cruit Éireann | Harp Ireland’s Young Harpers’ Forum was set up in 2023 to give young harpers’ a chance to raise their voices for harping in Ireland. Through meetings, harper gatherings and online catch-ups we want the next generation of harpers to help us shape the future of Irish harping.

Last week, our young harpers’ gathered online for the second time. We heard about the breadth of harping activity across Ireland that our young harpers’ are involved in, and we were delighted to welcome Siobhan Brady online to share her harping story with us. Siobhan recently performed at the summit of Kilimanjaro, breaking the world record for the highest harp concert and raised funds to assist those living with Cystic Fibrosis. Ár mbuíochas le Siobhan as muid a spreagadh, agus aistear s’aici a roinnt  linn.
