Harp Studies II – World Harp Traditions

Cruit Éireann | Harp Ireland would like to extend our congratulations to Dr Helen Lawlor and Dr Sandra Joyce on the publication of Harp Studies II – World Harp Traditions.

The book contains essays from a range of harper scholars from Ireland and beyond including Deirdre Nic Chárthaigh, Helen Davies, Mary Louise O’Donnell, Neil Wood and many more. The book was launched at the Irish Traditional Music Archive on Thursday 29th February and featured reflections from Dr Kerry Houston and Professor John O’Flynn as well as a harp performance from Rachel Duffy and Fiona Gryson. Congratulations to all the contributors on this valuable contribution to Irish harping.
