The Sugar Club Harp Sessions: Lisa Canny & Band

The third concert of Cruit Éireann | Harp Ireland’s Sugar Club Harp Sessions Series took place on the 30th May and saw a stellar performance by Lisa Canny and her band. 

Lisa, an All-Ireland winning harp and banjo player from Mayo has worked across genres including traditional Irish, pop, rap and gospel, and has developed an exciting, new voice for Irish harping in recent years. Her work is inspiring in its ability to blend this wide range of influences into her own performances. Lisa, joined by her band, performed songs and instrumental sets along with a number of outstanding solo harp sets. Lisa’s debut album will be released in early 2025, and we look forward to hearing it. 

The Sugar Club Harp Sessions will continue across September, October and November. Tickets will be released in early July.
