The Drive for Five – A Global Call to Action for the Education of Adolescent Girls

11 Feb 2020 – Featuring Irish singer-songwriter Bono. The Permanent Mission of Ireland hosted a high level event at the United Nations focused on Girls’ Education. Working with partners including the One Foundation, the Global Partnership for Education and UN Women it aimed to put a spotlight on adolescent girls’ education and to launch a movement for five transformative actions to get all adolescent girls into school and provide them with quality, relevant education in supportive, safe and healthy environments.
