Éadaoin Ní Mhaicín & Shane McCartan – ILFD Lunch Break Beats

On Tuesday 21 May from 12:00 – 13:30, as part of their Lunch Break Beats series, International Literature Festival Dublin will  joined in Merrion Square Park by Éadaoin Ní Mhaicín & Shane McCartan.

Éadaoin Ní Mhaicín is a multi-award winning contemporary folk musician. With a whole host of awards behind her she has dedicated her time to making music that subtly underlines the beauty of Irish traditional music, not as a lost art but as one of progression that embraces the ideology of a living tradition, showcasing the sheer power and raw creativity it can possess. She will be joined by highly acclaimed guitarist Shane McCartan.
